You’re invited to a screening of The True Cost at the Long Beach Art Theatre on Thursday, October 20th. The True Cost is a groundbreaking new documentary film that pulls back the curtain on an unseen part of our world and asks us each to consider, who pays the price for our clothing? Filmed in countries all over the world, from the brightest runways to the darkest slums, this film is an unprecedented project that invites us on an eye-opening journey into the lives of the many people and places behind our clothes.

While tickets to this city-wide community event are free, a $5 donation is encouraged to help cover event costs. This screening is organized by Conscious Christmas, a one day event on Sat. November 19th, created to help shoppers seek justice through purposeful shopping practices that promote sustainability, fair wages, and ethical “people first” business practices. We hope you’ll join us for both events this year!
