Welcome by Han Busker, Chairman of FNV and Mondiaal FNV; Post-screening discussion with tips on how you can contribute to fair clothing
Come to Mondiaal FNV film and talk on December 12 and learn about how your clothes are made by watching the documentary The True Cost, a groundbreaking investigation of fast fashion. This film reveals that while the price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. Who really pays the price for our clothing?
The reception for this event starts at 1pm, followed by a welcome by Han Busker, Chairman of FNV and Mondiaal FNV. The True Cost film screening will begin at 1:45pm. A post-screening discussion will include tips on how you can contribute to fair clothing. Then, stick around to watch the 360 ° movie with a special pair of VR glasses, which will allow you to stand in the middle of a garment factory in Bangladesh and also be at home with clothing worker Pakhi.
