FREE film screening of The True Cost: Exploring the impact of fashion on people and the planet

Share

Attend a free screening of The True Cost, a film about fast fashion's effect on the environment and on the people that make our clothes. At a time when the City of Toronto is developing a textile diversion strategy, this film highlights the importance of making more conscious decisions when purchasing and "disposing" of clothes. As part of the Long Term Waste Management Strategy, a textile diversion awareness campaign will be developed and the provision of textile (e.g. clothing, shoes, curtains, sheets, towels) diversion opportunities will enable textiles to be reused or recycled.

RSVP at www.toronto.ca/toweringchallenge or on Eventbrite.

Bring your gently used clothing for donation.
