Associated Students Environmental and Sustainability Programs and the WWU Office of Sustainability present The True Cost

Tuesday, November 17, 6pm
Viking Union 552, Western Washington University

The endless desire to seek the lowest price for all our apparel is hurting our planet and the people involved in the process. Rarely do we as consumers pause and consider THE TRUE COST of the items we purchase, and the impact it has on all the hands that brought that item into existence.

Come view The True Cost, presented by the AS ESP and the Office of Sustainability and find out who made your clothes — from who spun the threads, to who sewed them together, to who grew the cotton in the first place, and the impact fast fashion has on the environment.
