Celebrate World Fair Trade Day by asking "Who pays the price for our clothing?"
Ten Thousand Villages Overland Park invites you to join us for a screening of The True Cost on Thursday, May 19th at the Rio Theatre in Downtown Overland Park. This eye-opening documentary explores the impact of the fashion industry on people and the planet and offers inspiring alternatives to the current 'fast fashion' economy.
Doors open at 6:30PM and film will begin at 7:00PM followed by a short discussion and showcase of the fair trade styles available at the store.
Tickets are FREE and may be reserved at volunteer.overlandpark@tenthousandvillages.com or obtained at The Rio Box Office between 1-8PM beginning Monday, May 16th.
