Introduction and post-screening discussion featuring Repon Chowdhury of the Bangladesh Free Trade Union Congress

A documentary that pulls back the curtain on the fast fashion industry and asks us to consider: who really pays the price for our clothing? Popcorn and catering provided by the YWCA’s At the Table Initiative. Special guest Repon Chowdhury of the Bangladesh Free Trade Union Congress will introduce the film and take part in a brief Q&A after the film.

WAHC’s Youth Council is proud to present Solidarity on Screen, a series of outdoor screenings and workshops that look at labour, industry and activism through a global lens. These screenings are intended to raise awareness of the struggles of workers and communities at home and abroad, and will draw in guests speakers and educators to lead short workshops for youth 16-25 in advance of each screening. Screenings are free, and all are welcome.
