FREE for museum members and SCAD Card holders.
Open to the public with the cost of SCAD FASH admission: $10 general. $5 students. $20 family.
Discussion led by Rafael Gomes, SCAD director of fashion exhibitions.

This is a story about clothing. It’s about the clothes we wear, the people who make them and the impact it’s having on our world. The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. The True Cost is a groundbreaking new documentary film that pulls back the curtain on an unseen part of our world and asks us each to consider, who pays the price for our clothing?

Join us for a film series featuring documentaries relating to the upcoming exhibitions "A Fashionable Mind: Photography by Jonathan Becker" and Daniel Lismore’s "Be Yourself; Everyone Else is Already Taken."

A 10-minute discussion led by SCAD faculty and staff will precede each screening, beginning at 6 p.m.
