This is a story about clothing. It’s about the clothes we wear, the people who make them, and the impact the industry is having on our world. The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. The True Cost is a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story and asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing?

The movie is going to be in english with german subtitles and after the movie there will be a discussion with Gerhard Adam from Südwind, Thomas Winkler from Apflbuzn und Annette Behrendt from Sustainers Graz.

Dies ist eine Geschichte über Kleidung. Es geht um die Kleidung die wir tragen, die Menschen die sie produzieren und den Einfluss den die Kleidungsindustrie auf unseren gesamten Planeten hat. Die Preise für Mode sind in den letzten Jahrzehnten ständig gesunken, während die Auswirkungen auf Mensch und Umwelt dramatisch angestiegen sind. The True Cost ist eine Dokumentation, die uns darüber reflektieren lässt, wer wirklich den Preis unserer Mode zahlt?

Der Film wird auf Englisch mit deutschen Untertiteln gezeigt und nach dem Film gibt es noch eine spannende Diskussion mit Gerhard Adam von Südwind Steiermark.
