The Montclair office of Environmental Affairs and Community Green proudly present their 75th free sustainability movie screening on Thursday, November 17, 6:30 p.m., at the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Avenue. All events at the Library are free.

The True Cost tells the real stories about the clothes we wear, the people who make them, and the impact the industry is having on our world.

The price we pay for clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. This groundbreaking documentary film pulls back the curtain on the untold story and asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing?

Filmed in countries all over the world, from the brightest runways to the darkest slums, The True Cost invites us on an eye-opening journey around the world and into the lives of the many people and places behind our clothes.

Please join us, and bring a friend, a family member, or your favorite fashionista for this entertaining and informative film screening, and an open public discussion afterwards.
