Artworks for Freedom presents The True Cost as part of their Action DC effort

Post-screening panel discussion featuring Ambassador Mark Lagon, an expert on international human rights and human trafficking, and Samir Goswami who regularly consults with public and private actors on fair labor and ethical sourcing practices

Join us for a screening of “The True Cost” and discussion of the fast fashion industry – its impact on people and the environment. This film screening is part of ArtWorks for Freedom‘s month-long Action DC! effort in which artists, arts organizations, service providers, universities, the diplomatic community, local government and advocacy organizations are coming together to amplify our collective voices. This event is sponsored by the Capitol Hill Community Foundation.
