The Cape Cinema, Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Tickets: $15
Film. Post-screening panel discussion. Fashion show and pop-up shop.

A groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story of the fashion industry and asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing? Filmed in countries all over the world, from the brightest runways to the darkest slums, The True Cost invites us on an eye opening journey into the lives of the many people and places behind our clothes.

Following the film there will be a panel discussion with Kathryn Hilderbrand, founder of the Good Clothing Company, a Mashpee-based clothing production facility, eco-fashion designer Aiste Zitnikaite of Devinto, and Shift Eco Boutique co-owner Amanda Converse. The event will also include a short fashion show of ethically made clothing from local designers and a pop-up shop of select products from Shift. Cash bar and appetizers in the lobby.
