Vancouver Watersheds Alliance presents The True Cost
Tuesday, January 26, 2016, 6pm
Vancouver Community Library, Vancouver, Washington
FREE and open to the public. Donations encouraged.
This is a story about clothing. It’s about the clothes we wear, the people who make them, and the impact the industry is having on our world. The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. The True Cost is a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story and asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing?
The event is free, but a donation is encouraged and appreciated and used to support our organization and all the great work we do in the community-including the film series. Film and pizza are free! :-) We have gluten/dairy free pizza as well.
Event by Vancouver Watersheds Alliance and sponsored in part by Clark County Environmental Services and Vancouver Community Library.
